Diablo IV is Blizzard’s biggest premiere, both in terms of item count and money. In five days the game collected vover $666 million and according to the company, it joins Activision Blizzard hits like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Overwatch 2.
“On behalf of Blizzard, we want to thank the millions of players around the world who have experienced Diablo 4.” said Mike Ybarra, President of Blizzard.
The players have already done it destroy over 276 billion monsters, have died over 317 million times and have logged over 276 million hours as of 6/2. Over 430,000 players died in PvP battles.
Diablo 4 became the best selling game in the UK last week. An infernal adventure toppled The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom after four weeks. Diablo 4 is only physically sold for consoles, with 67% being the PS5 version, 27% being the Xbox Series X/S version, and the remaining percentage being PS4. Here’s what the rating looks like:
