Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice from 2017 developers Ninja Theory is a very unique experience that even Microsoft was interested in buying the British studio. The sequel was already announced at The Game Awards 2019, and two years later we received the first preview, but we are still waiting for the release.
Now, as part of the Xbox Showcase, we got a new demo straight from the gameplay, although it was more of a cutscene than actual gameplay. Thus, one can judge at least the visual and, of course, the sound design on which the studio is based, once again we were able to hear the iconic whisper of the protagonist’s inner voices.
Although we didn’t know the exact date, at the end of the trailer was at least that we will see the game next year. Moving on to PC and Xbox Series X|S. It will be available on Xbox Game Pass on the day of release.
Everything had led Senua to this moment.
