First, we have confirmation of what, probably, many were waiting for. On Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X consoles, Starfield will only run at 30fps.. Bethesda Game Studios creative director Todd Howard told IGN that everything sorry aiming for a consistent game. And when it comes to resolution, the Xbox Series X will offer support for 4K resolution, while the Xbox Series S will have to make do with 1440p.

But on the PC the situation, of course, will be different. Howard even boasted that the PC version could now run at over 60 frames.. And if you want to have an idea of whether you can achieve something like this with your hardware, you can take a look at the official hardware requirements. You can find them on Steam and luckily they are not bloody.
Since Starfield is a very large game, prepare 125 GB of free disk space while this time the creators are explicitly asking for an SSD. But something like this is often the standard today. Other statements probably won’t surprise or frighten anyone. But as always, judge for yourself:
Minimum requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 10 version 22H2 (10.0.19045)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 2600X, Intel Core i7-6800K
- Memory size: 16 GB RAM
- Graphic card: AMD Radeon RX 5700, NVIDIA GeForce 1070 Ti
- DirectX: Version 12
- Connection: Broadband Internet connection
- HDD: 125 GB of free space
- Additional notes: Requires an SSD
Recommended requirements:
- Operating system: Windows 10/11 with updates
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, Intel i5-10600K
- Memory size: 16 GB RAM
- Graphic card: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080
- DirectX: Version 12
- Connection: Broadband Internet connection
- HDD: 125 GB of free space
- Additional notes: Requires an SSD
The release of HW requirements is, of course, connected with the launch of pre-orders and different editions of the game. If you pre-order Starfield in any edition, you will receive the Old Mars Skin Pack.which includes the Laser Cutter Skin, the Deep Mining Helmet and the Deep Mining Pack.
We’re genuinely curious how something like this would work on PC, as we’re guessing that the Creation 2 engine that powers Starfield doesn’t just use modding modules for just about every expansion, as it did with all previous games. from Bethesda Game Studios on the Gamebryo and Creation engine. Previously, even in the case of paid content, it was often enough just to copy the right modules to the right folder.activate them in the game launcher and enjoy content that you may not have even paid for.
But there is a feeling that the creators will take care of something like that. After all we don’t even know to what extent Starfield will support modding. But we know that more expensive editions will be offered, which is not to be missed this time. First, we have the digital Premium version, which in addition to the main game also offers Access to the Shattered Space Paid Story DLC, which will be released some time after the launch of Starfield itself. The edition also includes a digital artbook and soundtrack, as well as Constellation Skin Pack cosmetic items.
However, perhaps the most interesting thing about the premium edition is opportunity to play Starfield 5 days earlier. As with the unsuccessful Redfall, the marketplace also offers the option to buy a standalone base game and a digital or physical upgrade to the Premium version. The latter will also offer a steel book and a Constellation faction logo patch in select stores.
The base version of Starfield will set you back €69.99 on PC, while the Xbox Series X|S version will set you back €79.99 at launch. Then the price of the Premium version is 99.99 euros (PC), i.e. 109.99 euros (Xbox). AND if Redfall’s approach to accessibility gets a major overhaul, PC players will also be able to purchase a boxed set of the base game and/or a physical upgrade to the Premium Edition.. If you would like to donate even more money to the publisher Bethesda Softworks and the developers at Bethesda Game Studios, please have about 300 euros ready. For this price, you can buy a collector’s edition called the Constellation Edition.
The collectible contains the same content as the Premium Edition, but the interesting thing is that although it will only be available physically, even in the case of the Xbox Series X|S version, you will find a label with a laser-engraved activation key instead of a game disc.. But the main attraction of the Constellation editions are genuine Chronomark LPV6 watch. They are also worn by your character in the game, where they are part of the user interface, act as a compass, and provide information about the environment. The watch that you will find in the Collector’s Edition is available in a special case, allows you to connect to your mobile phone and offers you various notifications. But you can’t take phone calls with them, and they don’t work as touch devices..
And if you’re looking to part with even more money for Starfield and still want to play Bethesda’s new game on Xbox, you should be interested. dedicated game controller that complements similarly tuned headphones. Both of these accessories should already be on sale.
