In the summer of 2021, a sequel to the popular Frostpunk strategy was announced, which takes place in an alternative world of the late 19th century, which was affected by a massive cold wave. The only salvation is huge generators, which alone can produce enough heat for the inhabitants to at least survive. Or not? After all, Frostpunk is famous for its relatively high complexity. The action of the second part takes place 30 years after the end of the first part, when new threats await us and the city is threatened with disintegration, which we must prevent at all costs.
We got a new preview at the PC Gaming Show, but unfortunately it’s still a pure CGI trailer and not footage directly from the game. However, we at least learned the fact that the game will be released next year. It’s coming to PC and you can add it to your wishlist on Steam.
Thirty years have passed since the fierce storm. People have changed. And once they feel they have tamed the frost, their human nature will come into play, driven by ambition that could bring the City to its downfall.
