Skull and Bones will receive an officially consecrated fan-made Czech language

With Ubisoft’s pirate action game Skull and Bones, we’re most likely to write about further delays and hurdles in its long and troubled development. But this time we have good news for you. A translator with the nickname PredatorV reported through the website Prekladyher.eu that the team under his leadership plans to release Czech localization.

It is important to note that this is not a classic fan translation. Czech localization will be created with official consecration by Ubisoft itselfwith whom the translators entered into an agreement. Unfortunately, the translation team has not yet confirmed whether the Czech language will be displayed on consoles other than PC. However, it is clear from the authors’ statement that Czech localization in the form of subtitles will not be available on the day of release, along the lines of traditional official translations.

“The release date of this game is not yet known. It has already been postponed several times and the current deadline is “until March 2024This is pretty vague. However, after four months of writing emails, posting on social media, and calling branches in Poland, France, Ukraine, Canada, and China, it worked! This report, perhaps unnecessarily early, but, as it turns out, sometimes more than appropriate (reviews or even game stores then report on the preparation of the translation), and sometimes necessary (addition below).

Of course, when the game is released, there may be problems – who knows what the technical side of the game will be, whether it will be possible to get to the texts, etc. But we will deal with this somehow … However, at the moment we are already preparing for the game and, of course, we look forward to future updates.

PredatorV and his team one of the experienced translators, which in the past has brought translations of Baldurs Gate 3 or Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed, which were also created with the consent of the developers and therefore the publisher.
