World of Warcraft developer fired for dialogue about corporate greed

World of Warcraft is a world full of interesting characters that you can often have very funny conversations with. One of the funny conversations was supposed to lead to the dismissal of one of the developers. And what was the subject of the dialogue? According to the victim, I will fire the game designer and screenwriter Eric Covington it was supposed to be directed at corporate greed, which can be a fairly common theme among goblins.

Covington commented on the whole situation around his dismissal from the development of World of Warcraft in a nutshell:I’ve been writing jokes poking fun at general corporate greed for a Venture Company mining goblin.
