However, this is not exactly fertile ground for Blizzard. Covington commented on the whole situation around his dismissal from the development of World of Warcraft in a nutshell:I’ve been writing jokes poking fun at general corporate greed for a Venture Company mining goblin. But management figured it out while I was concentrating on finishing the patch. Because of their embarrassment, I’m no longer at Blizzard. To some extent, evidence that this factor was the reason for the dismissal is a series of documents focused specifically on interviews with the goblin, showing the state when Covington was still working at the company, as well as the version after he was fired.

Some users admire Eric and are surprised that he lasted so long in the development of World of Warcraft, because the pressure on the creator from Blizzard must be really great. The biggest disappointment for Covington was that he was left without the next bonuses. In addition, he considered himself an employee with a great passion for work and play, which led him to remark that the community should not be unpleasant to the creators themselves, but to those at the top who clearly determine the direction and eliminate the creativity of the face.
