Alaskan road truckers no big news. Only the Polish studio Road decided to rename their long-announced game Alaska Truck Simulator. If you haven’t heard of it yet, this is not a copy of the successful American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator games from the Prague studio SCS Software, but a mixture of survival and truck driver simulator.
On the occasion of the name change, annotated gameplay footage and new images were released. Video shows one day in alaska. Fortunately, the weather is fine, so that blizzards and severe frosts do not threaten. The creators will show more stringent conditions later.
We already see it today you can leave your truck, for example, when you move to your headquarters, where you will find a service and a kitchen so that you can cook something delicious. Or while refueling. What can be a bit annoying is having to manually start the truck, turn on the lights, and release the brakes. You have to look for all the “buttons” in the cabin.
You will have to again when traveling through the harsh Alaskan nature watch for truck damage and top up oil and diesel fuel in time. In addition to the cold, you will be in the winter when delivering the cargo also fight hunger and fatigue.
Today’s footage does not look the worst. But the game is obviously crashing. Hopefully the developers will work on this and the next demo they promise will be better in this regard. To do this, they indicate the use of the old version of the game. Either way, Alaskan Road Truckers is scheduled to release this fall for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
