In June, we’ll show up, visit hell, try to escape the bunker, build an amusement park, stop an alien invasion, and dive into a new Final Fantasy. Do we have your attention? So let’s take a closer look at the individual games coming out in the sixth month of 2023.
STREET FIGHTER 6
6/2 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox Series
When we said we were going to blow our nose, blood wouldn’t flow like poor Carlos “Terminator” Vemola’s face because a new Street Fighter is coming (it won’t be red until Mortal Kombat 1 in September). This time it runs on the RE engine and will include three different modes, including a single story mode and 18 fighters. You can’t miss Ryu, Chun-Li, Luke, Jamie, Kimberly and more. If you’re not a fan of fighting games but still enjoy Street Fighter 6, it will include alternative control options to make it easier for less experienced players to play.
SUPER MEGA BASEBALL 4
6/2 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch
Baseball isn’t that popular around here, but this arcade game from EA Sports might grab your attention. Baseball legends such as Babe Ruth, Ozzy Smith, Jason Giambi, Vladimir Guerrero or Johnny Damon may be tempted to join fictional characters from the Super Mega League All-Stars. Just watch your crotch, this ball hurts a lot!
DIABLO 4
6/6 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox
The Sanctuary needs your help again. Decades have passed since the events of Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls, and Lilith, the daughter of hate, is determined to rule the mortal realm again. We find ourselves in the midst of a conflict between the angel Inarius and the demon Lilith. The very creators of Sanctuary are on the knife, and we are in for the darkest story in the history of Diablo. We can expect an encounter with both a demon and an angel. As long as we enjoy the story, Blizzard will provide us with a new season once a quarter with additional content.
AMNESIA: BUNKER
6/6 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox
Those who are afraid should not enter the apparently abandoned World War I bunker. We already watched the new and at the same time unconventional Amnesia last month when it was supposed to come out. But it was delayed, so it’s here again. Are you ready to be chased through narrow corridors by a huge monster that you cannot kill?
MOTOGP 23
6/8 on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch
While your main goal remains the same: climb the ladder from Moto3 to Moto2 to the MotoGP Olympus, the path you take for your career has been completely redesigned to give you the most realistic and personal experience. At least that’s what studio Milestone says, which is also inciting rivalry that can have a real impact on the race and ultimately your career, so keep an eye out for the game’s new virtual social platform… and stay safe!
LAYERS OF FEAR
6/15 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series
Psychedelic horror chronicle Layers of Fear presents remakes of the two-episode series. The remakes should be the first horror of the next generation and bring the new story closer to the artist enslaved by the obsession. They experience various terrifying visions. The game mechanics are also expanded, such as the lantern will prove indispensable when you face the fear you face in the old mansion. Not to mention what awaits you aboard an ocean liner that turns into a terrifying labyrinth.
PARK OUTSIDE
6/16 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series
Let’s take a break from fear and adrenaline by building and managing your own amusement park. At Park Beyond, your imagination should be the only limit to create your dream amusement park with carousels, Ferris wheels, roller coasters and other amazing structures. But while dreaming, we must not forget about making money, hiring employees and competition that never sleeps. Remember; it is important to manage your finances wisely and try to please your visitors every time.
F1 23
6/16 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox
The start lights will be lit for the second time in June, this time in the officially licensed race of the world’s fastest single-seat cars. Codemasters boasts redesigned and improved physics that make the machines more manageable. There’s an urban circuit in Las Vegas and a circuit in Doha, Qatar, while the Braking Point story mode returns and the red flags are finally talking about 2014 races; they are activated in the event of a major accident or hazardous weather conditions. In this case, single cars will return to the pits.
EMERGENCY TEAM MANE
6/20 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox
4v4 team fights are not what fans of Crash Bandicoot want, but maybe some of you will enjoy this multiplayer mode and varied and dangerous maps where two teams compete to be the first to collect and save enough wumpa fruit to win .
ALIENS: DARK LIST
6/20 on PC, PlayStation and Xbox
We are approaching an alien invasion. Please is a tactical action-strategy game in which you will lead soldiers in real-time battles against iconic invaders, corrupt agents of a greedy corporation, and hordes of other terrifying creatures brand new to the Alien license. With your squad, you will infiltrate vast open levels and destroy all enemies by issuing strategic orders with a simple and intuitive push of a button. You just better tread carefully because your enemies will adapt their tactics to your actions and try to hunt you down. Therefore, death is omnipresent.
FINAL FANTASY 16
June 22 on PlayStation 5
The 16th installment of the legendary Final Fantasy series invites players to plunge into the dark fantasy world of Valistea and enjoy a complex story of revenge, power struggle and inevitable tragedy. In the game, iconic summoned creatures are transformed into Akons. These deadly creatures reside in Dominants, males and females who inherit their great power at birth, whether they like it or not. You will become Clive Rosfield, a warrior named “First Shield of the Rosaria” and sworn to protect his younger brother Joshua, Dominant of Akon Phoenix One thing is for sure: you will enjoy the Akon War.
