The Russian hackers seem to have dealt with the threats. They appeared on the Internet two development versions of the game STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl. Each developer build is reportedly around 190 GB in size.
In March of this year, Russian hackers they threatened the creators of the game and blackmailed them into publishing graphics they obtained by hacking into the application account. Should have been around 30 GB.
The group demanded from the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World apology Russian and Belarusian players for many years of support for Ukraine and the abolition of Russian localization. But the authors declared that they would not allow themselves to be blackmailed and asked players to ignore leaked material.

As it now turns out, the leak is much more serious. It is believed that the same hacker group is behind the leak of developer builds. Luckily they are alone files are encrypted and can’t just be started. However, in the coming days, weeks and months, spoilers may start to appear on the Internet. STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is due out later this year for PC and Xbox Series X/S. It will also be available with a Microsoft Game Pass subscription. Availability of the game is expected 11.6 Presentation of games for Xbox.
