There were several surprises during yesterday’s PlayStation Showcase, among which we can also mention the recently introduced game called Ghostblade Zero. Behind the game is the Chinese studio S-Game, which has been involved in mobile games until now. However, now this device is entering traditional gaming platforms with ambitious role-playing gamewhich at some points resembles FromSoftware games led by Bloodborne or samurai-themed titles such as Nioh or Ghost of Tsushima.
the game will have a semi-open world and an emphasis on quick fights. The creators themselves call the environment Kung-Fu Punk, which mixes elements of Chinese kung fu with steampunk. The game’s plot will revolve around the journey of an elite assassin named Soul, who is framed for murder and subsequently has to deal with a serious injury. Thanks to a mystical healer, he manages to find a cure, but it only lasts 66 days. In the meantime, the main character must fight powerful enemies and find the source of his problems.
A release date for Phantom Blade Zero for PlayStation 5 and PC has yet to be announced. You can watch the introductory trailer above in the preview.
