To revive the series Alone in the dark the Pieces Interactive studio team has been working since 2019, and on May 26 we would, according to THQ Nordic they had to have a thread to answer some burning questions about the game. It’s also possible that we could see some gameplay footage. However, nothing has been confirmed, so let’s not hope, but we will wait for at least some new information.
However, the publisher has confirmed that we will see gameplay footage at the big THQ Nordic presentation. This will happen on August 11th and will also include Outcast 2: A New Beginning and Trine 5: A Clockwork Conspiracy.
The reboot aims to revive the original trilogy in a new and fresh form. The story will be completely new and is in charge of Mikael Hedberg, who has stories from games like Amnesia: The Dark Descent or the great SOMU. Thus, the quality of the story should be taken care of.
The camera will be in third person, as in the Resident Evil remakes. The game’s release date has not yet been set. but the confirmed platforms are Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC.
