The well-known game journalist and host Mikolash Tucek wrote on his Facebook that after 24 years decided to quit his work in the gaming magazine Score. In just two decades, “Toucan” participated in 281 releases. He announced his retirement at the presentation of the anniversary issue dedicated to the 350th anniversary.

“Honestly, I NEVER imagined that this situation could happen. The writing business is long gone, but the joy and enthusiasm remains. I don’t have it now after several misunderstandings with the new editorial management. I don’t want to immediately quote the famous Messrs. Krupa and Vandemar from Gayman’s Nowhere and their legendary: “I’m starting to have some conceptual doubts about my participation in this farce.”

I wrote to SCORE from number 69. There are 281 numbers in total. Almost 24 years (42 hours). I’m not going to contribute anymore (except for a few things at 351 where I have a mini-vacation) but I’m keeping my fingers crossed for the magazine and the team. Anyone who has read the book knows how much I love this guy.” Mikolash Tucek gives reasons for his departure.

You can find the full statement on his Facebook.
