Game development is a long process, during which some of the originally conceived elements are lost, and some, on the contrary, are added, because it suits the creators more. This also happened during the development of Hogwarts Legacy, or at least according to data miner GrandTheftDiamonds, it seems so. According to the data he found, the game should have had a system of morality, as well as a reputation, the presence of which would more actively determine the world around. Bad behavior needed to be clearly punished, which could really improve the overall experience and make it clear to players that some actions are hard to forgive.

Your behavior should also be one of the factors that determine how other tenants treat you. The data collector found signs in the files that the person may have felt hatred, resentment, indifference, trust, friendliness, or outright kindness toward you. It’s a bit of a shame that the developers at Avalanche Software decided to leave this element out, as it could add an interesting spark to the Hogwarts Legacy as a whole.
