After all the speculation and leaks, finally, the official announcement of not one, not two, but three new graphics cards from Nvidia. One of them is already at the door.
Let’s start with the older model – RTX 4060 Ti. It will offer 4352 CUDA cores, 32MB L2 cache, and 2310MHz boost clock to 2535MHz. The bus is 128-bit, the amount of video memory is 8 GB for the basic version, TDP is 160 watts. Performance should be on par with the RTX 3070, but Nvidia only compares it to the 3060 Ti. The official price tag is set at $399, here 10 499 CZK. It’s already on the market May 24.
However, the RTX 4060 Ti will be available in one more version, completely identical in characteristics, only it will have 16 GB video memory instead of 8 (and consumption is higher by 5 W, i.e. 165 W). As we’ve seen with some new games, 8GB is at least on the edge, if not beyond, even if you’re only aiming for Full HD games. However, if you need more video memory capacity, you will have to pay a lot more. The card will be sold for $499, in the Czech Republic for 13,199 CZK. It will be available in Julywe don’t know the exact date yet.
The youngest of the presented models RTX 4060 (without you”). The card contains 3072 CUDA cores and 24 MB of L2 cache, the base frequency is only 1830 MHz, with an increase to 2460 MHz. As for the memory, this is again a 128-bit bus and 8 GB of video memory. Consumption at the same time very low, only 115 W. In terms of performance, the model should be between the RTX 3060 and 3060 Ti. This card will also come in July and the cost will be 299 dollars, here 7,899 CZK.
