Therefore, we are not even surprised by the news about the collaboration ID Software on the expected Starfield. This collaboration makes sense. The creators of the Doom series are first-person shooter experts, and as we’ve seen, Bethesda’s ambitious space RPG will feature gunplay.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that id Software is working closely with Bethesda to improve Starfield’s combat system. The Doom Eternal, Rage 2 or Quake Champions development team has been helping since last August. Thanks to this, the fights should be much better than they were at last year’s Xbox presentation.

It looks like vehicles will play a big role in id Software’s next game. It makes us think about new Rage, or maybe quite different. If it was Rage, then, given the second part, it would probably be a reboot of the brand.
