World of Warcraft Classic is a return to its rather complex roots. However, there are still players for whom the game is not difficult enough. A hardcore mode will be added to this group in the coming months, more specifically servers that will enforce it across the board. And what does this mean for you in practice? You can’t make a mistake, because death has to become something permanent and unchanging, so even the best healer cannot help you return to the world of the living.
The only thing you should be allowed to do is turn into a spirit through which the guild leader can pass on leadership or write to his successors what to do. However, you can’t expect anything more. To fully participate in the game, you will need to create a new character. World of Warcraft Classic Producer Josh Greenfield commented on the impact of the news on players during the stream:In our opinion, this is a great addition for all brave gladiators, as well as for spectators. The PvP dimension is often forgotten in hardcore mods, but we want this side to be part of the experience.Apparently there won’t even be a legendary Mac’gora deathmatch where you fight with your sap, for example, for leadership in your guild.
It is not yet clear when hardcore servers will appear in World of Warcraft Classic. However, it is clear that for many players this will be a defining moment that will give their gaming experience a whole new dimension.
