If you’re a Dark and Darker fan, you probably won’t be happy today. The expected pre-access will apparently be delayed. The creators comment on the move in their Discord as follows: “We are very sorry that we are not able to communicate as freely as usual, however, due to the sensitive nature of our current situation, we are unable to divulge too much information right now. I know this isn’t the announcement everyone wants to hear, but we needed to let our fans know that the Early Access release is a bit delayed. Just know that we are working on a lot of things to get the game to you as soon as possible. We ask everyone to be patient a little more. Thank you!“
The delay itself is relatively important. While the game was originally supposed to release in those months, it now looks like we won’t see Dark and Darker until Q4 this year. That is, if everything goes well. Ironmace is still in an uphill battle with Nexon, who would like to have this surprise hit under his control, at least according to his claims originally generated in his studios.
