Sad end for Copenhagen Flames
The Danish esports group Copenhagen Flames has filed for bankruptcy and is in the process of going bankrupt. Behind everything is the lack of funds that the management of the organization unsuccessfully tried to obtain for the further development of the club. According to representatives of Copenhagen Flames, recently it has been very difficult to conclude new partnerships, and even partial layoffs have not helped. Copenhagen Flames CEO Steffen Thomsen commented on the sad event:
“Dear fans, partners and everyone who has ever supported us in any way. Last week on Friday, I personally filed for bankruptcy of Copenhagen Flames and fired all the staff, as we could not find funds to finance the future of our club. We have been working tirelessly for the past six months to prevent this, but unfortunately have not been able to do so. And for that I am very sorry. In the end, this is my responsibility, and I feel like a complete failure in it.
