Czech game Xzone and JRC Stores just like in the previous period, they brought their rating of the best-selling games for the last month. Below you can see the list of the most successful games for the month of April.
xzone
Xzone was dominated by zombie thriller Dead Island 2, followed by action-adventure Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. These two AAA titles were unexpectedly joined by a third roguelike game, Cult of the Lamb, on the PS5 and Nintendo Switch versions. Other positions were taken by games such as Forspoken, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp, Hogwarts Legacy or Gran Turismo 7.
“It took almost 10 years, but in the end it was worth it. After many ups and downs, Dead Island 2 arrived in April of this year, and buyers have been patiently waiting for it. On the contrary, we didn’t have to wait too long for the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Nevertheless, at the end of April, an excellent game was released that surpassed its predecessor in all respects. We fix the oldest order for Dead Island 2 until 2015. And, surprisingly, the customer actually took it. It’s called decisiveness! Zombies are still around, which is why the game easily took first place in the April Xzone rankings.
Jedi: Survivor had a slight drawback: it was released just before the end of the month and only on new consoles and PC. However, this month we were perhaps most pleased with the third place in the ranking. It’s rare that an indie game released in physical form just a few months after its digital release makes it into the top 3. But the cute “cult” Cult of the Lamb did it playfully” included in the list of best-selling games by Xzone representatives.
JRC
In JRC, FIFA 23 has reached its peak of popularity over time, leaving behind two big April releases in the form of Dead Island 2 and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. Games like Grand Theft Auto V, Ghost of Tsushima, Minecraft or NHL 23 have also done well.
