If you want to enjoy playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor in Czech, we have great news for you. The first version of the localization, created as part of a collaboration between the Farflam team and Indiana, is now available for download. While the first part is devoted to translation work, the task of the second part is to cover the whole event primarily in the media. According to the translators, the collaboration arose because of this: “We wanted to show, together with Indian, that this can be done better, with respect and agreement between translators. the team and environment of the game, and the result remains under the guidance of experienced translators (that is, us), and not under the guidance of someone else who is not a translator and may never have done so.“
However, this is a heavily developed version of the Czech language for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The creators themselves recommend waiting for a more customized version like this:If you’re a Star Wars fan and don’t want to spoil your experience, expect the best the game deserves! (Who wants to weed out nonsense in a text if it’s not necessary?)“
The localization journey for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor appears to be at the very beginning. The translation should take longer than the first part, which took about 3.5 months to translate from the very beginning. Details can be found on the page of Czech authors.
