If you do not like to buy a rabbit in a poke, then a demo version of the promising Slovak XCOM is available just for you. Small indie studio Centurion Developments released a playable demo of the game following an ongoing crowdfunding campaign. Forgotten but unbroken.
From itch.io you can download the so-called playtest, or you can request access directly from Steam. It’s about alpha versionso keep in mind that this is not a finished product. Developers value feedback.
Kickstarter for Forgotten but Unbroken was launched less than two weeks ago. Nearly €23,000 was collected from the players out of the required €80,000.. The Slovak studio needs money to finish it the way it wants.

If all goes well, Forgotten but Unbroken will release on PC later this year or early 2024. with Czech dubbing. The authors are very frank about the console version, but everything depends on the success of the game on the PC.
