The creators of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have been experimenting with paid modifications for some time, in which cosmetically modified characters bring some advantage to the game. The last time CoD: MW2 featured a build that had additional drone slots available, something that wasn’t met with enthusiasm by players. The studio responded to the criticism with a reduction in the effectiveness of the UAV.
Now we have another attempt to offer paying players something extra. The creators of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 have targeted the legendary Soap, whose face, as part of the new set, is painted black, reminiscent of Modern Warfare 2’s old-school Gulag mission. The choice is good. In addition to being visually different, this tough guy also brings an additional Active Duty armor slot into battle. While the community wasn’t thrilled with the previous installment, they aren’t overreacting this time around.
