It’s very crowded and confusing. This has been the most common criticism of the Xbox home screen. Microsoft listened to the criticism and started working on a clearer and better dashboard. In collaboration with a close community, various designs have been tested in previous months. Members of the Xbox Insider Program (specifically the Alpha Skip-Ahead and Alpha tiers) will now be invited to test the new version based on feedback from previous tests and internal experiments.
Microsoft senior product manager Ivy Chrislov said that the new version of the Xbox Dashboard will be available to testers this week. Raised the top of the home screen, which is no longer as cluttered, leaving enough room for you to enjoy your background.. Some tiles have been reduced in size and moved to the bottom of the screen. In addition, the main image is responsive and game specific. It’s similar to the PlayStation consoles.

The new version aims to balance experience, accessibility, functionality, and community needs.. With a new shortcut menu, it should provide easy navigation through the library, Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass, search, and settings. The tile that opens My Games & Apps has also been improved to alert players when there’s something new or something that needs their attention. Microsoft wants to highlight, among other things, discounted games on the wish list.
