Cyberpunk 2077 demonstrates the benefits of Intel XeSS technology and how it compares to DLSS.

In recent weeks, in conjunction with the RPG Cyberpunk 2077, significant attention has been drawn to the addition of an Overdrive graphics mode that brings Path Tracing technology to the table. However, at the same time, the game also received adding Intel XeSS technology, which works on the same principle as competing Nvidia’s DLSS and AMD’s FSR. Through the use of upscaling, all three technologies provide higher FPS while maintaining high image quality and resolution.

Intel itself states on its website that when using the Intel Arc A750 graphics card, it will run out of power increase FPS by 71%which should allow you to play Cyberpunk 2077 at 1080 resolution combined with ultra detail at over 60fps on this card.

Below you can find brief comparison of technologies Intel XeSS 1.1, Nvidia DLSS 3.1 and AMD FSR 2.1 provided by MxBenchmarkPC. This comparison used an Nvidia RTX 4080 graphics card. Interestingly, DLSS and XeSS are very close to each other in terms of image quality. On the contrary, in some details FSR lags behind.
