Every Thursday you have a week to go to the library Epic Games Store they added two free games. This week the company is offering two silent gameswhere you can relax, like taking a break from mowing down zombies in the first Dying Light, which was also recently a free add-on, or playing bloody medieval hack action Mordhau or co-op shooter Second Extinction, where you fight against waves of mutated dinosaurs.
Let’s start with beyond the blue. This is a single player adventure game set in the depths of the ocean. You explore the mysteries of the ocean through the eyes of Mirai, an explorer and scientist. She is part of a new research group with revolutionary technology; it allows you to see, hear and interact with the ocean in a more meaningful way.
“During eight different dives, you explore the pristine world of our ocean and use technologies that are on the verge of our understanding – watch sea creaturesuncovering mysteries and interacting with the ocean like never before.” the description of the game beckons.
In an atmospheric puzzle platformer Never alone you will experience the epic journey of Nuna and the fox. Together, the pair search for the source of the eternal blizzard that threatens the survival of everything they’ve ever known. The game was created in collaboration with the IñupiatAlaska Natives, and draws on a traditional history that has been passed down from generation to generation.
“Control both characters in single player or play with a friend as you travel through the frozen tundra, jump over treacherous ice floes, swim through underwater caves and face enemies familiar and unfamiliar.” we will read in the description of Never Alone. If you go in co-op, a controller is required.
