After last year’s postponement, good news finally arrives. The sequel to one of the best indie games of 2016 finally has a date. Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals Releases 7/12/2023 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam, and Android and iOS mobile devices for Netflix subscribers. Oxenfree 2: Lost Signals is happening five years after the memorable events of the original game and serves separate story. The story centers on new protagonist Riley Poverly, an environmental explorer who returns to her small coastal town of Kamena, which, as you might guess, is suffering from mysterious radio signals.
“TVs turn on and off. Planes lose radar. Radios cannot transmit via static electricity. In the small coastal town of Kamena, an unnatural occurrence of electromagnetic waves suddenly occurs, causing interference in electrical and radio equipment. Riley reluctantly returns to her hometown to investigate the mystery, but what she finds exceeds her expectations.” says in a press release.
