However, Nexon has now decided to file a lawsuit, which was filed primarily due to the fact that the approval of the practice of developers from Irongate, according to the gaming giant, could endanger not only itself, but the industry as a whole, since anyone in almost could take data from the parent company at any time and then implement it in other projects without investing in the previous development or directly compensating the original donor in any way.
And what elements, in her opinion, the development studio Irongate directly stole from the Nexon P3 project? Evidence must be, for example, the way chests are opened, or the fact that heroes wear potions on their belts. Apparently, the authors of Dark and Darker are still trying to get out of the whole situation. However, their actions are rather rash. The studio has encouraged the community to download their game from a torrent, and that’s not all. One of the team members even tried to fund $500,000 in legal fees, which he clumsily raised through a GoFundMe page.
