Already on Friday, April 21, everyone will be able to go to devastated los angeles, to fight zombies. For release Dead Island 2 the two-minute launch trailer is enticing. The first shows you waking up after a plane crash and being bitten by a zombie. However, you survived because you are immune and gradually within yourself you wake up your inner zombie and you’ll be on a crazy, bloody, and, according to the developers, fun ride that doesn’t take itself that seriously.
“The future of Los Angeles (and humanity) is in the hands of only you and a handful of other boastful idiots who have proven resistant to this pathogen. By uncovering the truth about the epidemic, you will find out who you are or what you are. Survive, grow, save the world – just another day in LA!” says in a press release.

If that wasn’t enough for you, it’s leaked to the internet first 30 minutes. Of course the video is full of spoilers and we expect Deep Silver to block it soon.
You can play Dead Island 2 on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. They will be in the game Czech subtitlesbut unfortunately will not support crossplay. Thankfully, both generations of the console platform will be able to play in co-op. PS5 players will play with PS4 players and Xbox Series X/S players will play with their Xbox One friends. But neither camps will connect to each other or to PC (here are the hardware requirements and information on how the game will work on consoles).
