Redfall will only run at 30fps on consoles

Developers from Arkane Austin studio today through Twitter announced that the upcoming vampire thriller Redfall would only run at 30fps on consoles. The game will only offer a quality mode on Xbox Series X/S at release that will only be tied to that. the aforementioned 30 fps.

While gamers on the more powerful Xbox Series X will enjoy this value. combined with 4K resolutionowners of the weaker Xbox Series S will have to enough with 1440p resolution. But the authors have promised that the performance mode, which should offer higher frame rates, will be added via an update some time after the release.

Redfall isn’t the first game that players on current generation consoles have had to settle for at 30 frames per second. They also decided to take a similar step last year. developers of A Plague Tale: Requiem or Gotham Knights. However, the lower frame rate is pretty surprising for Redfall.
