Polish studio CD Projekt RED has released a new update for Cyberpunk 2077. An update to the PC version of the popular RPG adds a new ray tracing mode. His name is overdrive.

Overdrive brings full ray tracing to Cyberpunk 2077, also known as path tracing. The developers say that the technology is able to accurately simulate the light in a given scene and take into account the properties of radiation from an unlimited number of sources to create realistic shadows, reflections and global illumination.
