Ray tracing is what the PC community around the Cyberpunk 2077 RPG is looking forward to at the moment. Now NVIDIA has given us a proper preview of what the Overdrive graphics mode looks like, and it’s safe to say that this is going to be a really big addition. After its launch, according to the creators, “Every neon sign, street lamp, LED billboard, car headlight, and other light source is ray-traced to ensure that objects, walls, passing vehicles, and pedestrians are precisely illuminated.” There should definitely be a strong emphasis on realism in this update. For example, the influence of the sun and the moon must also be different, so that in different daily cycles you are always offered a slightly different world.
Basically, DLSS 3, capable of a decent frame rate boost, should help keep it all running. Coming to the world of Cyberpunk 2077 on April 11th, this Overdrive graphics update brings you the ability to quickly upgrade Night City’s visuals and thus access a completely different experience for your eyes.
