Star Wars Jedi: Survivor revealed new information and gameplay footage

At the end of this month, the long-awaited action adventure Star Wars Jedi: Survivor from EA and Respawn Entertainment will be released. Selected journalists were able to test the game not so long ago, thanks to which we are now getting interesting impressions and new gameplay footage.

From the published previews, we learned the following information:

  • In the game, it will be possible to visually modify the character (hairstyle, beard, clothes), lightsaber and your own droid.
  • To move faster, you can tame some animals or use your own anchor.
  • In addition to the main missions, side quests will also be available.
  • The game will offer a partially open world (semi-open world).
  • The game map will be significantly expanded compared to the last part.
  • You will visit at least 7 different planets (which should be comparable in size to the worlds in GOW: Ragnarok.
  • New Force abilities will be available.
  • In total, Cal Kestis will have five combat stances (only three will be available at the beginning of the game).
  • The main character will say different funny things.
  • There will be limited use of the blaster during special attacks.
  • The game will have a Jedi room where you will solve logic puzzles (similar to the shrines in Zelda: BOTW).
  • Planet Koboh will offer a main hub where you can roam freely, accept new side quests, hunt optional bosses, chat with characters, recruit NPCs, open new shops, and buy items from them.

In general, individual impressions carry over from a positive to an enthusiastic spirit. For example, VGC magazine claims that every element of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor works in comparison to the previous installment, subtitled Fallen Order. a more sophisticated, polished and extended impression. Overall, the new installment should feel more like the third game in the series rather than a direct sequel.
