Entropiq dominates the Mastercard Hitpoint Masters
The final of the League of Legends domestic league spring split has moved unusually to Velké Špaliček in Brno. The top two teams, Entropiq and Esuba, played a total of five matches. Entropiq fared much better in the first round, setting a great pace. The player Khantos performed well, scoring 11/0/10 for his heroine. In the second game, Esuba behaved well from the very beginning, gaining the upper hand at the start of the game, more precisely in the bottom lane. It was agreed. The third round also belonged to Esuba, who defended last year’s title. In the fourth round, Entropiq managed to level the score 2:2. The fifth and final round of the match determined the winner of the Mastercard Hitpoint Masters tournament. With a final score of 3:2, they became Entropiq and thus dethroned Esuba from his imaginary throne.
The first Major of Counter-Strike 2 will be held in Denmark
In March 2024, more precisely 17.3. Until March 31, the first ever Counter-Strike 2 Major will take place. The championship will be held at the Danish Royal Arena, which has already hosted many esports events. After the last CS:GO Major, which will be held this year in Paris, the eyes of the audience will move to Copenhagen next year. PGL is taking the organization of the first CS2 Major under its wing. In PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024, 24 teams will compete for a $1,250,000 prize pool and, last but not least, the title of the first Counter-Strike 2 Major winner. PGL CEO Silviu Stroye had this to say about the tournament:

Denmark has a rich esports heritage and we are excited to invite the world’s best Counter-Strike teams to Copenhagen to compete for the most prestigious title in the game. Our goal at PGL CS2 Major Copenhagen 2024 is to break all-time records for the number of game views.”
