Even with the latest Resident Evil, Capcom is celebrating great success and continues to grow. The Japanese company announced today that it has sold over 3 million copies in its first two days, which is even slightly faster than the time it took Village or the remake to reach number two.
After all, the numbers on Steam have already shown that sales are extremely good. The highest number of concurrent players eventually rose to 168,191, about 60,000 more than the most successful eighth installment to date. By the way, the popular remake of the two at the best moment had “only” a little over 74 thousand players.
Finally, I’ll add that the Mercenaries mode will appear as a free game update on April 7, the paid DLC “Different Paths” should be released later, although it has not yet been officially announced. A PS VR2 version is also in preparation.
