Developers from Polish studio Techland also showed up at the Future Games Show, which served as our Dying Light 2 open-world event last February. The game regularly receives various updates, small DLCs and time-limited events. The developers even said before the release that they want the game support for at least five years.

The next major update is scheduled for April 20th. This update will bring significant changes in the combat system, which should be more brutal and more rewarding for the players. In addition, a transmogrification system will be implemented, thanks to which existing statistics will be preserved when changing the appearance of equipment. You no longer have to choose between attributes and style.

Later this year this word should also apply story expansion, from which the authors showed several images in the video attached above. In the future, a deeper implementation of already created community modifications is also planned.
