Developers from the Polish studio Plot Twist have been working on Benedict Fox’s Last Case for a long time. This is a platform game based on the mechanics of metroidvania games. In addition to passing the platform and solving puzzles, you will also encounter enemies. The big advantage of the game should be audiovisual sitewhich already in the first samples fascinated more than one player.
The mechanics, setting and graphics of the game may remind you of the award-winning games Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps from Moon Studios. However, the upcoming news from the Plot Twist studio should be a little darker compared to Ori, which the developers prove obvious inspired by the works of Lovecraft.
The last case of Benedict Fox coming out April 27 on PC and Xbox Series X/S. The game will be available on Xbox/PC Game Pass on the day of release. You can check out the new demo released as part of the Future Game Show in the preview above.
