Today, March 24th at 5:00 PM, the Diablo IV Open Beta will begin, following on from the previous Closed Test for pre-orderers. This time you’re playing the game until Monday, March 27 (20:00) all players will be able to try it for free. However, even in the case of a closed test, users, especially at the beginning they did not escape the long wait on a free server.
Since in the case of open beta expects much more interest, so the developers warn in advance that it is most likely impossible to do without waiting. The biggest hype is expected on Friday evening, when the queues should be the longest.
Blizzard representatives add that while the wait may be inconvenient for players, to test individual systems and servers they just want their maximum load. After all, the authors pointed out some time ago that this is not a free demo version, but a real test beta version of an unfinished game. You can download the beta in advance from yesterday.

It’s better to set some expectations early, but any problems this weekend are better discovered now than at launch.
