Epic Games has created three great games with new tools. The first is reminiscent of Call of Duty, the second is Hideo Kojima’s playable Silent Hills teaser, and the third is a tough boss fight from one of FromSoftware’s games.

But we’ll be in order. As announced, it happened. Epic Games has launched a beta version of Unreal Editor for Fortnite (abbreviated UEFN). The app is currently only available for PC and works alongside the existing Fortnite creative toolset. According to Epic, Unreal Editor is used to design, develop and publish games and experiences directly in Fortnite.. It also includes a new scripting language called Verse.

It comes with Unreal Editor Author Economics 2.0. Epic wants to make Fortnite the second Roblox and is tempting content creators to start making maps and stuff. He promises them that will distribute up to 40% of Fortnite income from players to active. This is a significant evolution of the Support-A-Creator program, which gave creators a maximum of 5% of purchases made by users. Of course, it has its own specifics, which Epic writes about here.

It is important to note that in Unreal Editor, novice developers can learn and improve. Epic is betting on community content and wants to build the future of Fortnite on it. Not surprising. CEO Tim Sweeney previously revealed that players spend half their time in Fortnite playing community-created content. After all, Roblox relies on it and boasts a number of independent studios that specialize in content for this sandbox.

The difference is that Unreal Editor is more complete, better and more modern., so creators will be able to create just about anything and won’t be restricted like in Roblox. To showcase the power of the UEFN, Epic has released three of its own creations using the new tool that even the general public can play on the PC version of Fortnite.

The most notable thing is the gameplay. Deserted: Domination (island code 8035-1519-2959), which offers 8v8 battles for territories in the style of the Domination mode from Call of Duty. He even has a first-person view while aiming. CoD fans themselves are delighted with the look, and the map resembles the Rust region from the series.

Then here it is Guardian of the forest (island code 0348-4483-3263), which is a single-player hand-to-hand combat against a pack of wolves overseen by a huge dragon boss. Obviously inspired by Elden Ring and possibly other FromSoftware games.

he’s like the third Space inside (island code 9836-7381-5978), an atmospheric spooky puzzle game. One first-person segment even looks like PT, Hideo Kojima’s playable Silent Hills teaser.

He is very popular in Fortnite. original game island 2017, which has even been improved in Unreal Editor. Check out the tweet below. Later, this new version of the old island should be available right in the game.
