Hogwarts Legacy has undoubtedly become one of the most successful launches in recent years. However, does this mean that the game as a whole can be so interesting for players that most of them will be able to play it? Probably not, as the latest statistics on the number of active players show. If in February there were just over 880,000 players at Hogwarts at a time, now there are only 69,000 of them. Of course, one can argue that most have already completed the game and therefore there is not much point in playing, but the opposite is also true.
At least according to Steam, only about 24.9% of players have completed the story, which is not exactly decent compared to The Witcher 3 (23.7%) or Skyrim (31.5%). However, I must say that both RPGs are noticeably larger than the trip to Hogwarts. According to some, this could mean that Hogwarts Legacy was primarily intended for casual players who just don’t get through the games, as evidenced by a noticeable drop in player numbers not backed up by more playthroughs.
In the replies, people say “Uh, it’s a single player game, people only play it once” in the replies and ignore the huge drop in achievements when less than 30% of the players even beat the final boss. https://t.co/Zm3DgBRbAk
