Ubisoft in their RPG series Assassin’s Creed he has come a long way, creating vast worlds filled with content, including countless texts. Even though the next part of the assassin’s adventures should be smaller, the future plans with the brand are still ambitious. And maybe that’s why Ghostwriter, an artificial intelligence, was created to make the work of screenwriters easier.

HUMAN INTERVENTION WILL STILL BE NEEDED
Ubisoft Ghostwriter will be used to create the first draft of mob chatter and NPC voices.. These are sounds and sentences that, while critical to immersing players in the game’s worlds, take too much of the writers’ time. So AI should not replace writers, but make their work easier for very chatty games.. Human intervention will still be needed. It should work in such a way that the AI creates dialogues from several keywords, which are then used by the writers.
The tool was created hand in hand with the writers and to provide more realistic interaction with NPCs. In other words, it shouldn’t be the case that we often hear repeated dialogue while wandering around the vast world. Writers should use the time saved by the AI to work on other key elements of the game. Hopefully this will improve the main and side quests. Sometimes squeaks in this series.
