In the past, Splash Damage has been involved in the multiplayer components of games such as DOOM 3, Gears of War 4 or Gears 5. It subsequently created the name Gears Tactics under its own direction. Now this British team has announced their own AAA title, which is currently called Project Astrid. It’s been in development from the start a couple of famous streamers involved the lineup includes Michael “Shraud” Grzesik and Chris “Sakriel” Ball.
Genre is about AAA Open World Survival Kit. The development is currently in pre-production, so we will have to wait for more details and materials. According to Shroud himself, the team clearly wanted to create a better survival experience.
Project Astrid isn’t the only game Splash Damage is currently working on. Development is at an advanced stage event Transformers: Resumewhich was officially unveiled last December at The Game Awards and should see an open beta at the end of the year.
