In the preview pinned above, Nvidia announced that Diablo IV will offer DLSS 3 support on release day. The third generation of this technology is available exclusively on Nvidia RTX 40 series graphics cards and allows you to render the game at a lower resolution and then upscale to a higher one, which positively affects the frame rate itself.
In addition, unlike older variants, DLSS 3 can also generate images and use Nvidia’s Reflex technology at the same time. You can get more information about DLSS 3 in a separate article, where we have analyzed its advantages in more detail.
For now, DLSS 3 will only be available in the full game, so old DLSS 2 you will be able to enable it already in the beta version, which will open its doors today at 17:00. In addition to DLSS, there are also rumors about possible support for Microsoft’s DirectStorage technology.
Diablo IV Full release on June 6th on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
