In addition to the Metal Gear series, the Japanese company Konami has been keeping the no less famous Castlevania brand in hibernation for several years. It has long been speculated that said Metal Gear would also see a similar reincarnation. But fresh information suggests that Castlevania is also not left out. Magazine Gematsu was the first to point out that Konami registered a new Trademark Project Zircon.
At the same time, this gem appears in the Castlevania series. Although the Zircon project may indeed portend the arrival of the new Castlevania, so the possibility that the trademark only refers to a different pachinko machine or a completely different project cannot be ruled out. After all, it won’t be the first time in Konami’s case.
At the moment, the last part of the Castlevania series with subtitles. Shadow Lords 2 was released back in 2014. Since then, he could only please the fans of the series positively received animated series from Netflix, which ended with four episodes, showing that the brand still has a lot to offer.
Konami Digital Entertainment filed for the Project Zircon trademark on March 7 in Japan.
