“Closed Beta is just a taste of what’s to come in The Outlast Trials.” said Philippe Morin, co-founder of Red Barrels Studios. He praises the interest of the players and reveals interesting data. Over Halloween weekend, 225,363 people died in closed testing at the Signala facility, for a total of 35 years spent in the game, and almost a million players were expected to join the game.

The Outlast Trials takes place in the same universe as previous games, but this time around you don’t play as a journalist investigating a horrifying hideout or cult. In this multiplayer game you were kidnapped by the Murkoff Corporation to serve as a guinea pig for brainwashing and mind control experiments during the Cold War.. You can try to survive alone, as well as in cooperation with three other survivors.
