That nothing can go wrong with famous brands? RPG Knights of Pen and Paper 3 clearly shows that this is not at all the case. While players are still having fun with its predecessors, this time around, something went very wrong and the game has been the target of some pretty heavy criticism, earning it a rating of around 18% on Steam. What does the community not like? According to players, the main problem is a bunch of bugs that make the game feel like something that was originally supposed to be released in Early Access. Other points of criticism are the incredibly slow combat animations, the lack of support for some of the features offered by Steam, or the design itself, for which some compare the new Knights of Pen and Paper to mobile games.
Overall, it’s clear from the reactions that most fans imagined the appearance of Knights of Pen and Paper 3 quite differently from what they actually were. However, it is clear that most of them will probably wait for an update before playing again, which could theoretically solve some of the shortcomings. However, when this will happen is still a question to which there is no answer yet.
