Developers at Rocksteady have decided to push back the release date after the game was heavily criticized by gamers and journalists following a recent gameplay demo that was released at the State of Play event. Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was due out on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on May 26th. Based on fresh speculation from traditionally well-informed sources, games we will wait until the end of the year.

However, Jason Schreier points out that the delay this happened mostly due to optimization and finishing work, for which developers need additional time. While certain adjustments to the gameplay and the overall concept are not ruled out, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League should remain a live service game with an emphasis on cooperation.
