Resident Evil 4 Remake is really around the corner, with Capcom’s Spotlight event coming up on Thursday, where we might get to know the latest details that the Japanese company has kept under wraps until now. However, the aggregator Metacritic found one interesting information, it concerns reviews.
Usually the embargo drops a day or two before the release, but this time it will be much earlier. Metacritic suggests that the first verdicts can be expected at the end of next week, that is, at least a week before the actual release, which is scheduled for March 24th. It looks like Capcom really believes in itself. After all, the original game had a significant impact on the entire gaming industry and is still considered by a large part of the fans of the series to be the best Resident Evil of all time. It scored 96 out of 100 on Metacritic (PS2 version). Do you think the remake will work?
The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
