Last summer, gameplay footage of a previously unreleased part of the DOOM series leaked onto the Internet. A project called DOOM 4 was created at the id Software studio approximately between 2007 and 2013. However, the entire project was ultimately canceled due to unsatisfactory quality. Based on it, developers they subsequently built a reboot of the series simply called DOOM. It came out in 2016 and was followed four years later by the latest DOOM subtitled Eternal.
For older footage now via Twitter account Gman Archive new shots follow. First, this is an edited trailer that was supposed to appear at id Software’s Christmas 2012 presentation. In addition to this preview, you can also check out the short gameplay footage below, which showcases the multiplayer mode and weapons with select enemies.
Already older footage and information from the developers themselves indicated that DOOM 4 should have its own style. closer to series like Call of Duty or Wolfensteinin which the new materials basically confirm us.
