Shooter Front wants to bring a mixture of DayZ and Battlefield

Indie studio Samar has unveiled its new title, The Front, in the trailer attached above. It’s about first person actionwhich combines survival mechanics with features more typical of multiplayer shooters.

The authors themselves claim that research, the struggle for survival, construction, crafting, first-person shooting and vehicle combat will be among the main game mechanics. In terms of the environment, The Front boasts post-apocalyptic world of 36 km², which you will share with other players. In addition to the focus on action and gunplay, the developers want the entire experience to be based on solid survival mechanics.

You can get more information about the game on Steam, where you can add The Front to your wishlist. The release date has not yet been disclosed. But first, the title needs to spend some time in the early access program.
